Looking After Your Designer Sunglasses

More and more people are now able to afford to buy designer sunglasses.  But even though they have come down in price they are still more expensive than high street alternatives.  So if you do manage to get yourself a pair of designer shades then it would be wise to make sure they are well cared for.  Then you will be able to make sure that your glasses last for many years to come.

One of the most important parts of caring for your designer sunglasses is cleaning.  By ensuring that you regularly clean your glasses you can keep them smudge free and in good condition.  Before you clean the lens, you should make sure that you moisten it first.  You will normally receive a cleaning solution with your purchase of designer shades.  If not, it would be worthwhile investing in one.  Or you can just use a little bit of water and soap instead.  Wetting the lens of your glasses before cleaning will help to protect against scratches.  Another way to avoid scratches is to use the proper cleaning cloth. 

Storing your glasses correctly when you are not using them will also help you to ensure that they are protected properly.  Any damage that your glasses might experience could be limited with the use of a protective case.  Hard cases offer more protection for your shades than soft ones. 

If you really want to take the utmost care of your glasses then you should consider buying a care kit for them.  You can always go to one of the many stores which sell designer eyewear you will be able to find a kit there or even look online for one.  You can extend the lifespan of your sunglasses by following the above advice.
