Homemade Acne Treatments

If you pay attention to the acne experts, they’ll tell you that the first thing you need to do in order to get rid of your acne is to get on a better diet and change your hygiene habits. Then they tout their over-the-counter products, creams and lotions that will produce lightening fast results for your acne breakout. But the problem is that it is successful for “most” people, but not all cases. Some people who try the products endure side effects or even get allergic reactions. So it is often better to try proven home remedies that cure acne that work better and have a greater success rate. They are cheaper and will not require a doctors prescription.

Here are a couple of home acne treatments that will get rid of your acne for good.So, let’s look at getting rid of acne using home treatments.

One popular acne home treatment is to use cotton dipped in alcohol and use this on your face. This will help clean the pores|hair follicles|skin pores|clogged pores|clogged hair follicles}, and kills a majority of the acne bacteria causing the acne breakout. Be sure and not use excess alcohol because it can result in a case of skin irritation.

If you are somebody who has oily skin, a good acne home treatment is to use oatmeal masks on your face. The way you use this mask is by applying an oatmeal and water mix for 15-20 minutes two times each day will get the best results. What will happen is that the mask will dry up removing the oil the skin. After using this mask, make sure to rinse your face with cold water.

Another acne home remedy that has been successful. It involves using honey and apples. This remedy uses grated apple, combined together with 4 teaspoons of honey. The mixture you get from this will be the paste you apply to your face. Leave it on for around 10 minutes. Then, remove it and rinse with warm water. Repeat two or three times per week for the most successful results.
